This page explains how the DiFenit site and DiFenit Accounts work, and what we keep in order to run your account. DiFenit is a brand under Divalby, and the site is difenit.com.
Terms
What the site does
The site introduces DiFenit Accounts, lets you create an account, and lets you follow that account's status. The app is not sold here, and subscriptions are not paid here.
DiFenit Accounts
The app runs on Windows: sales, purchase, and return invoices; stock by the codes you type; a cash box and day close; customers and suppliers; books, reports, printing, and export to Excel. The phone shows today's summaries only for people whose phone access is turned on, and a payment notice can be sent from it.
Account and activation
The account waits for activation until the DiFenit team reviews it. There is no free period. The first month starts on the day of activation. The team sends the installer; it is not downloaded from the site.
Subscription
The subscription is monthly. From 3 days before the end, a reminder appears and use stays full. On the due date, use becomes view and print for 3 days. After that, work pauses until the payment is recorded. You pay by Vodafone Cash, InstaPay, bank transfer, or cash, and only the team records it. The payment-notice button sends a notice; it does not unlock the account by itself.
Devices
Each new device needs approval before it works on the account. A device can be revoked. Your books stay on your account. Users are an owner, an accountant, or a cashier, according to the permissions they are given.
POS
DiFenit POS is a separate product and has not been released. It has no subscription, and it is not connected to DiFenit Accounts data.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for what is entered in your books, for passwords, and for the people you give access to the account.
Privacy
What we keep
To run the account we keep your name, email, and username, the business name and status, users and their roles, devices and their status, and the subscription state, due dates, and payment notices.
Why
We use this to sign you in, activate the account, approve devices, record payment, and show you your account status. We do not sell it.
The books
Your invoices, stock, and entries are stored so DiFenit Accounts can run on your account. The site does not offer those books for editing; edits happen in the desktop app.
Payment
The site does not take card numbers and does not collect the subscription. A payment notice you send from the app reaches the DiFenit team for review.
